Level 2 Football Coach Job Vacancy
Position: Level 2 Football Coach
Location: YMCA Leeds, Otley Road, LS16 6HE
Salary: £15 per hour
Hours: Part-time - Saturdays 4.5 hours plus holiday camps and potential for further development during the week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, structured training sessions aligned with FA guidelines
- Support the development of players across a range of age groups and abilities
- Build a positive, inclusive and professional coaching environment
- Work closely with other staff members in the organisation to meet over-arching goals and deliver a holistic service
The Ideal Candidate:
- FA Level 2 certificate in Coaching Football
- Valid enhanced DBS - or willing to obtain
- Current First Aid and Safeguarding certificates - or willing to obtain
- Experience coaching in Football
- Strong communication and leadership skills

New home ed sports sessions!
Since launching our popular mixed sports sessions for the home educated community, we have now expanded on this with two brand new sessions!
Our professionally qualifed, experienced, British Gymnastics gym coaches will be hosting a home ed gymnastics session from Tuesday 4th November at 2pm.
Additionally, we have a teen sports session on Wednesdays at 11am - 12pm. This will be a multi-sports session covering all kinds of activities from pickleball to hockey.
The sessions offer an opportunity to develop important team-building skills whilst improving general fitness, health and wellbeing. We are still offering a reduced session rate of £5 for home educated children.

YMCA are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and reliable individuals with previous gymnastics coaching experience from 4+ years up to competition level to join our coaching team.
Requirements:
• Minimum – Level 1 coaching qualification is essential (men's artistic, women's artistic, tumbling, general gymnastics)
- Desirable - Level 2 coaching qualification
- Desirable - Current DBS, first aid and safeguarding
All coaches must be DBS checked and undertake relevant Safeguarding training. First aid will also be essential for lead coaching roles.
Part time/Full time hours available - immediate start.
Competitive salary in the range of £21 – 24k.
